Day 13 - More of Rome

March 23, 2019


This post is somewhat repetitive of  the second one from the previous day. By changing our touring schedule on the day before, we found ourselves in the same area that we visited on the prior afternoon.

We start off with an interesting statue that I can't identify.



This is the Arch of Constantine, dedicated in 315 AD.



Below are a couple more shots of the Colosseum, which we still avoided paying the entry fee to visit.





These trees are common in Rome. I thought they might be Cypress trees, but they are Umbrella Pines.



The next shots are of the Chiesa San Sebastiano Al Palantino (where Chiesa is Italian for Church).




And here's our last look at the Circus Maximus.
